Fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside doesn’t happen by chance. This process is dependent on strong team work between the local British farms and our Friers, as well as scientific knowledge and precision when preparing and cooking the chips.
Our thin and deliciously golden, light crispy batter was created by the founders Grandfather in the early 1950s and is still used today. We keep our batter recipe simple – just a few secret ingredients and the highest quality British wheat. Every grain of wheat that goes into our Secret Recipe Batter is sown, grown and ripened on British Farms. This supports local farmers in rural communities NOBODY DOES IT BATTER!
